This book was co – written with Margaret McNeil who has been a Development Officer for Learning Skills across the Curriculum in the Grampian region and LEA Adviser in Oldham with specific responsibilities for assessment. Latterly she has been working nationally as an independent consultant and trainer and Ofsted Inspector. In her work with the QCA she was a member of the working party which drew up the revised assessment criteria for writing.
