About the Author
Doug Stitcher is currently the Deputy Head Teacher of a Wirral primary school. He has been an ICT subject leader since 2001 and worked in a number of schools providing ICT and Computing support. Doug has also produced a variety of apps and software for his family-run business Angel Applications for the last six years as well as developing the huge range of apps for Alan Peat Ltd.
Doug has a passion for teaching children to code and hopes his first book will inspire teachers across the country to teach their pupils to build their own app.
In his spare time, of which he has very little, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, listening to country music and watching his beloved Peterborough United play.
